Not Being Paid Right...

I was so dismayed of what I found out today. I have been with this blog adversiting site for quite a while, and I was pissed off. I have been writing their assigned posts on time without even waiting for the due date. I do my assignment and I am looking forward for them to be reliable and dependable on paying their blogger. I noticed that I haven't been paid yet and the posts has been on my blog for about 4 months now. They sent me message on my member's dashboard stating that on the said date they're going to pay me for the certain amount, and me, being "tanga" didn't check my paypal during those time. And yet, they didn't even pay me, at all and it's been 4 months now!
Assuming that they are dependable enough to pay me on the day they said they're going to do so, that's why. So, I didn't even bother checking it. Until today, I came to the point of checking all my blog advertising sites payments I received. And so, I wrote and make a complaint at their support and I hope they're going to do something about it. Because I will never lie for only P25.00. I am dependable person. I am not cheater at all, when I wrote my assigned posts I did them uniquely. I didn't even copy- paste my older posts, just to make them as my new ones. I worked hard on it and I deserved to be paid.

Well, I hope I can hear from them as soon as possible. Because I don't want to undergo this kind of situation again.


I just changed their name since there's an anonymous who cares about them...I don't! If they don't care about their bloggers!

Is Soy Sauce Safe to Consume?

A question where most pregnant women asked. Is it really safe to consume soy sauce during pregnancy? Soya (or soy) sauce, usually called tamari or shoyu in Asian countries, is a salty condiment made by fermenting soya beans mixed with grains in a salty brine.

Most of the commercial "soy" sauce sold in the United States is a non-fermented, synthetic product made from defatted soybean meal and grains, mixed with chemicals. It should be noted that a harmful group of chemical contaminants known as chloropropanols (3- monochloropropane-1, 2-diol or 3-MCPD), is produced as a byproduct during the synthetic method of soya sauce manufacture. There are mixed reviews regarding the safety of chloropropanols during pregnancy.

True tamari or shoyu is an aged product, which takes almost a year to ripen and form its characteristic flavor. This natural process does not produce chloropropanols.

Therefore, it is best to select natural soya sauce. Remember that because of its high salt content, soya sauce can cause fluid retention and swelling.

Preventing Blood Clots

Pregnant and early postpartum women are at greater risk for developing potentially deadly blood clots. The following exercises can help promote circulation in the lower legs.

While on bed rest or when recovering after delivery, discuss with your doctor just how much activity you are allowed to do. Get her clearance for each of the following in-bed activities before trying them:

My husband and my son went shopping last Monday and they bought me a AE capri jeans and from hubby, he got me a gold with silver bracelet. I really love those gift! Got New Shoes

This time it is not for me! But for my little boy. We went shopping last Saturday for some tees and shoes for him. What I’ve Learned ...

Since I became a mom, I've learned a lot of things. From breastfeeding, changing diapers, changing clothes, washing and sterilizing bottles, choosing the right food for a picky eater and more. Having a child isn't that easy, it is absolutely a full time job, a great responsibility, a never ending career. Patience and understanding is a must. Most of all, I've learned that being a mother is very fulfilling, as we feel so much joy in learning how to take good care of other human being, and watching them grow.
But most importantly, I've learned to give myself up, have patience, and make sure my son has everything he needs, especially when he feels ill, or when he wakes up in the middle of the night. It is essential at these times to have enough patience to continue to care for my son, even if I am losing much needed sleep. Patience and understanding are especially needed when searching for missing toys, that usually end up in some unusual place only a child could find, or when finding things in the toilet that don't belong there, or open kitchen cabinets with plastic containers, pots and pans all over the tile floor, or clean diapers and socks found out of their drawers. I just love being a mom! But being a mom always makes me feel important as well, because who could do a better job than me in picking up all those messes for my precious one, right?
And the best thing I've learned from being a mom is how to love unconditionally.

MOMMYFEST Potluck- Milk Cookies

When I was still in the Philippines, I just love making myself a "polvoron" also called here in US, a " Milk Cookies". Who doesn't love this yummy, delicious snack food! And cookies? Always the life of the party!
So, now, I wanted to share to you some easy steps of how to make a "Milk Cookie". I just made some of it, two days ago, so I wanted to share some pix of it too.

1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. powdered milk
1/2 lb. butter, melted (preferred unsalted butter)

Toast flour in frying pan until light brown, stirring constantly over moderate fire. Remove from heat and cool. Then add sugar, powdered milk, and melted butter. Mix well and mold, using polvoron molder/press. Wrap in wax paper or tissue paper. But I preferred using wax paper. Set molded candies on a cookie tray and refrigerate for a couple of hours so that the butter can harden them.

16 Month Old Today

My son just turned 16 months old today, actually, 1 year and 4 months old baby, oh wait, he's a toddler now, right? Oh whatever! he was still my baby, my little monkey boy! lol! Anyway, as he go further with his development and milestones, he begun to be on his own, he used to play on his own now, while mama was on the computer, doing blogs. He was sometimes, wanted my attention. He will go to the computer keyboard and begun tapping it...he was probably, curious what was this thing is so important when dada and mama always using it. lol! Well, he understood that the world is growing rapidly. He can sit on his chair while watching TV, unlike before, he just knock it out and play with it. He knows now, to get his baba (milk). Last time, we asked him to get his baba on the table, and surprisingly, he went there to get it. He knows now his baba! lol! He loves to sit on the cushion, on his truck, whatever it is, he loves to sit on it. Sometimes, it makes him fell over...poor monkey!
He loves simple games of peekaboo too. He was still imitating, and so, I decided to repeat some words for him to learn, like 1, 2 , 3 and guess what? He was trying to say the those numbers, though it wasn't pronounced thoroughly, but you can tell with the letters sounds. He was so cute! He started to say, Dada, Mama, Nana, Papa and the rest...ahmmm....like speaking in tongue? probably! lol! Well, I couldn't get enough of him. Sometimes, I found my self smooching him some kisses and hugs! When I said, "give mama a kiss" he will pout his mouth to show that he's giving me some kisses. He is so funny! And also he does, funny faces too. Like he wrinkled his forehead with a sharp look, lol! silly monkey! lol! I just love him, I really enjoyed my moments with him everyday!
I know this is the age where you can really enjoy the moment of being a mom! I'm really thankful to God for giving me this great gift and opportunity! I'm loving it!

Potty Training

I am so excited to make my son to get on the potty training so soon. Since, diapers lately, though, still on the same price, but they lessen the value, so we're thinking that we should potty train our child as when he reach the certain age in order to save money. It is nice to know, that there's no more time to change stinky diapers and always bring diapers wherever you may go. Based on experience, it was totally a lot of work. My son is about 16 month old today. He's getting so big, and probably, hopefully soon, we are going to start to potty train him. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (APD) suggests, however, that dental visits begin as early as six months. Talk to your child's healthcare provider about your child's teeth and whether a visit to the dentist is warranted at this time.

If you decide to wait on that momentous first visit to the dentist, it is especially important to make good oral hygiene at home as part of your child's daily routine. Choose a toothbrush specifically made for little mouths. If your child refuses the toothbrush, try at least to wipe the gums with a soft gauze pad or washcloth. Just use warm water at this time; wait on using toothpaste until your child can coordinate rinsing and spitting.

It is not uncommon for toddlers to refuse brushing teeth. There are some strategies you can try to achieve tooth-brushing success, and remember that many issues right now are focused on control:

* When at the store, let your toddler pick out his own toothbrush (or maybe two) made for children.
* Let your child occasionally hold and examine his toothbrush: He wants to know more—and rightly so—about this object being stuck in his mouth.
* Each morning and evening (and lunch time if you are really ambitious), encourage tooth brushing as part of the routine. Let him put the brush under the faucet and then brush his own teeth.
* Set a timer for brushing, increasing time up to two minutes over a week or so.
* If he won't hold the brush, another tactic is for you to brush his teeth but have him give you a signal (a wave or squeal) when it is time to stop. This way, he will still feel that he is in control of the tooth brushing process.
* Lastly, make sure he sees you and other family members brush their own teeth. He may want to imitate your actions while you are modeling good oral hygiene practices.
